Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Slice the baguette thinly. Cut the pancetta into small cubes and brown it in a pan until crispy. Grate the Cheddar cheese finely and mix it in a bowl with the beaten eggs, Dijon mustard, and half of the browned pancetta.

Add the finely chopped parsley and season with freshly ground black pepper. Spread the mixture onto the baguette slices and sprinkle the remaining pancetta on top.

Chef's tip

For extra flavor, you can rub the baguette slices with a garlic clove before adding the cheese mixture.
