O alternativă sănătoasă și delicioasă la clasicele degete de pește, pregătită la cuptor pentru o textură crocantă fără prăjire în baie de ulei. Codul fraged în crustă de porumb se combină perfect cu cartofii aromați cu mentă proaspătă, oferind un prânz nutritiv și plin de prospețime.

Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 215–220 °C and line a large baking tray (approx. 30 cm × 40 cm) with baking paper.

Wash the potatoes and cut them into small French fries shapes (approx. 1 cm × 3 cm). Place them on one half of the baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, add salt, mix well, and bake for 12–13 minutes at 215–220 °C.

Meanwhile, prepare two bowls. In the first bowl, whisk the egg and add the spelt flour, chili flakes, milk, lime juice and grated zest, salt, and pepper. Mix until you get a smooth batter. In the second bowl, place the corn breadcrumbs.

Chef's tip

For an even crispier crust, you can add a little grated parmesan to the corn breadcrumbs.

If you prefer a spicier version, increase the amount of chili flakes in the batter mixture.
