Preparation method

Rinse the millet very well under hot running water (four times) to remove any bitterness, then simmer it in water until done.

Finely grate the carrots; chop the onion. Sauté the onion and carrots separately (salt lightly before frying) until softened.

In a bowl, combine the cooked millet, sautéed carrot and onion, crumbled tofu, all the spices, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Then add the cornstarch and corn flour to bind the mixture.
