Ingredients
- 500 g ground turkey
- 1 egg size M
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 15 g tomato paste
- 80 g breadcrumbs (preferably corn)
- 80 g grated carrots
- 80 g finely chopped yellow onion
- 700 g potatoes for baking
- 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
- 1 pinch of black pepper (to taste)
- 150 ml still water
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 190–195 °C and prepare a baking tray (approximately 30 cm × 40 cm).
- 2In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, tomato paste, and breadcrumbs. Add the grated carrot and finely chopped onion. Mix everything very well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture that holds its shape. Form the mixture into an oval meatloaf (approximately 25 cm long and 10 cm high) and place it in the center of the prepared tray.
- 3Cut the potatoes into small cubes (approximately 1.5 cm) and arrange them in the tray, around the turkey meatloaf. Pour water into the tray, place it in the oven, and bake for 50–55 minutes at 190–195 °C.
- 4Remove the tray from the oven, portion the meatloaf, and serve it with the baked potatoes, sprinkling freshly chopped chives on top. Enjoy your meal!
