Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Prepare a baking dish suitable for salmon (approx. 20 cm × 15 cm) and line it with two layers of aluminum foil, leaving about 10 cm of foil hanging on each side to be able to close the package later.
Cut half of the lemon into thin slices and place them in the center of the aluminum foil. Squeeze the juice from the other half of the lemon. Place the salmon fillet over the lemon slices, season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with about 2 tablespoons of the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix the peeled and crushed garlic with the honey, Dijon mustard, rapeseed oil, sweet paprika, and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Pour this mixture over the salmon, distributing it evenly.
Chef's tip
Serve the baked salmon with fresh herbs, such as chives, basil, or dill, for extra flavor.
