Ingredients

  • 400 g Gruyere cheese
  • 200 g Emmental cheese
  • 1 pc garlic
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 1 pc cornstarch
  • 1 pc nutmeg
  • 1 ml cherry liqueur
  • 100 g croutons

Instructions

    Rub the inside of the pot with garlic (for that subtle aroma).

    Pour in white wine, heat it gently (but don't let it boil!).

    Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring constantly until melted.

    Mix cornstarch with lemon juice and add it to the pot for a smooth texture.

    Add a pinch of nutmeg (and a dash of Vișinată if you want to impress).

    Dip, swirl, enjoy. Repeat until the pot is empty.

    If the fondue becomes too thick, add a splash of wine. If it's too thin, stir in more cheese (obviously). 🫕😏
