Grease a loaf pan (type „srnčí hřbet”) with butter and dust it with some of the flour (10g). Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Sift the remaining flour (100g) and mix it with the whole (unpeeled) almonds. Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding the sugar, spoon by spoon, until you get a glossy meringue.

Using a spatula, carefully fold the flour and almond mixture into the meringue. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
Chef's tip
You can replace the almonds with hazelnuts or pistachios for a different flavor variation.
