- 150 g ground beef
- 1 pc burger bun
- 1 slice Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 slices tomatoes
- 2 red onion rings
For a successful burger, use quality beef, seasoned only with salt and pepper. Form a patty slightly larger than the bun, as it will shrink slightly during cooking.
Place the room-temperature meat on a well-heated grill, lightly greased with oil. For medium cooking, leave it for approximately 3 minutes on each side. Immediately after flipping the meat, add the slice of Cheddar cheese on top to melt. Don't forget to lightly toast the halved bun on the grill as well.
Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, or both on the bun, add the juicy meat, and top with lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and red onion rings. Cover with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
