
Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry served with Jasmine Rice

Preparation method
Cut the tofu into cubes. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, 10 tablespoons of water, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, finely chopped ginger, 2 crushed garlic cloves, lime juice, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the tofu and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Break the broccoli into small florets and boil them for 3 minutes in salted water. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a large pan or wok. Add the sliced green onion and the remaining 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced, stirring for 30 seconds. Add the tofu (along with the marinade) and broccoli, then sauté over high heat for 3-4 minutes. If you want a spicier taste, add the chili paste now.
Chef's tip
For even crispier tofu, you can pat the cubes dry with a paper towel before marinating or coat them lightly with cornstarch before adding them to the pan.
