- 200 g red bell pepper (approx. 1 piece)
- 270 g natural cream cheese
- 30 ml olive oil (approx. 2 tablespoons)
- 5 ml Tabasco sauce (approx. 8–10 drops)
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch table salt

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Brush the bell pepper with a little oil, place it on a baking tray, and roast it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After roasting, immediately place it in a bowl, cover it as quickly as possible with cling film, and let it steam for 30 minutes. Then, carefully remove the skin, cut it in half, and remove the core and seeds.

Finely chop the bell pepper flesh and mix it with the rest of the ingredients (cream cheese, olive oil, Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper). Let the spread chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Chef's tip
Serve the spread on toasted bread slices or with fresh vegetable sticks.
