Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of ketchup
- 1 black olive
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Hamburger buns
- 250g of minced meat
- 3 slices of tomatoes
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 5 cucumber slices
- A few lettuce leaves
- 1 slice of Cheddar cheese
- 1 boiled egg
Preparation
- 1Cut the bun lengthwise and lightly toast it in a special dry pan (without oil) until golden.
- 2Season the meat with salt and pepper and divide it into two. Form a patty from each half and press it lightly. Make a small indentation in the center of both patties. Place the meat in a hot pan with a drop of olive oil and cook for approximately 5-6 minutes on each side.
- 3From the cheese slice, cut out teeth – leave the slice whole and, on one side, gradually cut adjacent triangles to create scary teeth.
- 4Slice the bell pepper and cut the olives in half.
- 5Now we can start assembling the Monster burger. Spread a tablespoon of ketchup on the bottom half of the bun. Add a few lettuce leaves, then tomato slices and some chopped bell pepper pieces. On top of the bell pepper, add another tablespoon of ketchup. On the ketchup layer, place one of the two prepared patties. On the patty, add more yellow bell pepper and, on top, the cucumber slices. On the cucumbers, place the second prepared patty, over which you put a slice of cheese. Then pour the remaining ketchup over the cheese and place the toasted bun on top.
- 6Cut the boiled egg in half and remove the yolk. In each egg half, place half a black olive, in place of the yolk. Pass a skewer through the egg half, making sure it also pierces the olive, thus ensuring the olive does not fall out of the egg. The scary eyes of the burger prepared in this way are inserted into the top half of the bun. This is how the eyes of this scary monster burger are created.
