Preparing the Potatoes

Start by preparing the potatoes: peel them, cut them into cubes of approximately 2 cm, place them in a pot, and cover them with cold water. Add salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and boil the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, until tender.
Preparing the Fish

While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the fish fingers. Cut the cod fillet into thicker strips (approximately 2 cm x 7 cm) and season them with salt.

Prepare three deep plates for breading: in the first, put the flour; in the second, beat the egg together with 20 ml of the total milk quantity using a whisk; and in the third, put the breadcrumbs.
