Ingredients
- 400 g boneless chicken thighs
- 1 L-sized egg
- 150 g sugar-free cornflakes
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 bunch of green onion
- 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
Instructions
- 1Clean the chicken meat of any tendons or fat and cut it into pieces of approximately 3x3 cm. Season the meat with salt. In a bowl, beat the egg with a fork and add a pinch of salt. Place the cornflakes in another bowl and crush them lightly with your hands (it's okay if larger pieces remain). Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then coat them well in the cornflake layer. Place the chicken strips in the air fryer basket, drizzle with a little oil, and bake for 10 minutes at 200 °C, turning them halfway through.
- 2Serve the chicken strips sprinkled with sliced green onion and, optionally, with a homemade ketchup sauce.
