Descoperă savoarea Orientului Mijlociu cu acest recept de Arayes – lipii crocante umplute cu un amestec suculent de carne de vită, brânză feta și condimente aromatice. O cină rapidă, gata în doar 25 de minute, perfectă pentru momentele când vrei ceva deosebit și plin de gust.

In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with crumbled feta cheese, finely chopped red onion, crushed garlic, and all the spices (cumin, paprika, cinnamon, chili, salt, and pepper). Add the tomato paste and mix the composition well, ideally using your hands, to blend the flavors.

Cut each pita bread in half (or make a pocket cut if they are thicker) and fill them with a thin layer of the meat mixture, about 1–1.5 cm thick. It is important for the layer to be thin so that the meat cooks evenly.

Brush the outside of the filled pitas with a little olive oil, using a brush, to get a golden and crispy crust.

Chef's tip

For an extra touch of freshness, serve Arayes with a yogurt sauce with mint and lemon.
