Ingredients for the dough:
- 150 g butter
- 150 g white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon vanilla powder
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1 egg
- 270 g white flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 120 g white chocolate
- a pinch of salt
Instructions:
- 1Melt the butter and let it cool for 30 minutes.
- 2Preheat the oven to 170 °C (340 °F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 3Combine the melted butter with sugar, vanilla powder, vanilla extract, and the egg.
- 4In a separate bowl, mix the flour with salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- 5Add the matcha powder and gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones.
- 6Gently mix with a spatula to keep the mixture airy, then add the chocolate pieces.
- 7Use a deep spoon or an ice cream scoop to form the cookies and add white chocolate pieces for decoration.
- 8Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Finally, the cookies should be crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and golden at the edges. Delicious, isn't it?
