PREPARING THE PUMPKIN PUREE

Preheat the oven to 185 °C. Wash the pumpkin, cut it in half, and remove the seeds.

Cut the pumpkin into smaller pieces and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, until the pumpkin becomes soft.

Once baked, scoop the flesh from the skin and place it in a blender. Blend until you get a smooth puree. If necessary, add a little water, but the consistency should remain thick.
Chef's tip
For a festive look, you can use leftover pastry to cut out leaf or star shapes and place them on top of the filling before baking.
