Preparation method

Ingredients overview

  • 300 ml of plant-based milk (oat or almond)
  • 70 g of dark chocolate 70% cocoa
  • 10 g of cocoa powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 pinch of fine iodized salt
  • 1 tablespoon of white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 bourbon vanilla pod
  • 1 pinch of chili powder (optional)

Pour the plant-based milk into a small saucepan. Add the vanilla pod and cinnamon stick. Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off the heat and let the spices infuse for about 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the spices and reheat the milk. Add the broken chocolate pieces, cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt (and chili, if desired). Mix well with a whisk, then use an immersion blender to blend the mixture until it becomes perfectly smooth and airy. Serve immediately.
