Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Drain the dates (which have been soaked in water overnight) and place them in a tall container. Add the rapeseed oil and blend until you get a smooth paste. Put the date paste in a medium bowl, add the oat flakes and sunflower seeds, and mix well.
Spread the mixture on the prepared tray and bake until golden, for 25–30 minutes at 180–185 °C. Turn the granola twice during baking (after 10 and 20 minutes). In the last 5–10 minutes, monitor the mixture and turn it again if necessary. After removing it from the oven, let it cool for at least 20 minutes.
