Preheat the oven to 150°C.

In a clean, dry mixer bowl, beat the egg whites, gradually adding the granulated sugar until you get a stiff and glossy meringue. Then, quickly and briefly fold in the cornstarch, vinegar, and vanilla extract.

Place baking paper on a tray and draw a circle using a plate to create the wreath shape. Flip the paper so the pencil mark is underneath but still visible.

Chef's tip

You can shape the wreath using a spoon for a rustic look or a piping bag with a star tip for a more elegant appearance.
