Preparing the Cake Batter

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Prepare a cake pan (22 cm diameter) and line it with baking paper.

In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients for the cake batter: all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, half of the cocoa amount (30 g), and baking soda.

Add 250 ml of water, 80 ml of oil, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the dry mixture. Mix everything well until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Chef's tip
For extra flavor, you can add a little rum or vanilla extract to the batter.
