Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 8 tablespoons of wine vinegar
  • 8 tablespoons of wildflower honey
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 8 chicken wings
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 400 ml Chardonnay
  • 200 g of lemons
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 8 sprigs of thyme

Instructions

    Wash the lemons thoroughly in lukewarm water with a brush and cut them into 16 slices. Cut the garlic cloves lengthwise. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise.

    Cut the wings at the middle joint. Cut the meat near the bone and separate it from the bone. Salt and pepper the wings and drumsticks.

    Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a saucepan or frying pan, and fry the meat on each side for 3 minutes, until browned.

    Increase the heat and add the garlic (cut side down), thyme, lemon slices, chili pepper, vinegar, wine, and orange zest to the pan. Let the wine boil. Add 400 ml of water, honey, and soy sauce. Stir, cover with a lid, and let it simmer gently over low heat.

    Serve with boiled rice. Boneless chicken drumsticks can also be used.
