Preparing banana ghosts is extremely simple. Peel the bananas and cut them in half widthwise, so they can stand upright on the cut side.

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie (in a bowl placed over a pot of simmering water over low heat). To create the ghosts' faces, use a toothpick as a brush. Dip it in the melted chocolate and draw scary or funny eyes and mouths on the bananas.
Chef's tip
If you sprinkle the bananas with lemon juice, they will not change color (they will not oxidize) as quickly.
