INGREDIENTS
- 1000 g Bone-in pork chop
- 150 g Ketchup
- 100 g Multifloral honey
- 30 ml Balsamic vinegar
- 15 g Garlic
- 150 ml Orange juice
- 1 pc Orange zest
- 75 ml Sunflower oil
- 2 pcs Fresh rosemary
- 10 pcs Fresh thyme
- 1 pinch Chili flakes
- 1 pinch Ground black pepper
- 1 pinch Iodized table salt

PREPARATION METHOD
- 1Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
- 2Slice the garlic thinly. In a bowl, mix a pinch of salt, sliced garlic, and chili flakes with ketchup, honey, orange juice, balsamic vinegar, and finely grated orange zest.
- 3Season the meat generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 4In a hot pan over medium-high heat, add the oil and fry the meat until golden on all sides, including the fatty edge. Place the fried chops in a baking dish.
- 5Tie the rosemary and thyme with kitchen twine and place them in the tray next to the meat. Pour the prepared marinade over everything.
- 6Place the tray in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180 °C and bake for another 45 minutes, until the sauce reduces and the meat is well cooked.
Tip
For an even more intense flavor, you can marinate the meat in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before cooking.
