Preparing the mixture

Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave, being careful not to burn it.

In a large bowl, pour the sweetened condensed milk, add the melted butter and approximately 160-200 g of coconut flakes. Mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Cover the bowl and leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour (or even overnight) so that the mixture hardens and can be easily shaped.

Chef's tip

Use small paper cups for an elegant presentation, like from a confectionery.

The candies are best stored in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, to maintain their freshness.
