O omletă proaspătă și sățioasă, perfectă pentru un mic dejun sănătos. Combinația clasică de roșii zemoase și busuioc aromat, servită alături de pâine cu maia crocantă, îți va oferi energia necesară pentru întreaga zi. Un preparat simplu, dar plin de savoare, gata în doar câteva minute.

Preparation method

Slice the tomato into thin slices (half-moons) and mix it in a small bowl with the chopped basil, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. This will be the fresh garnish for the omelette.

In a medium-sized bowl, beat the eggs with a little salt and pepper. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan (approximately 18 cm in diameter). Pour in the beaten eggs and cook over low to medium heat, stirring gently until the omelette is almost ready.

Reduce the heat to low and leave the omelette in the pan until the surface becomes glossy but is no longer liquid. Carefully roll the omelette and place it on a plate.

Chef's tip

For a more intense flavor, you can lightly toast the sourdough bread slices before serving.
