- 500 g boneless chicken thighs with skin
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 pinch iodized salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 250 g fresh green beans
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 handful fresh green parsley
- 1 tbsp butter 82% fat
- 1 pinch chili flakes
Preparing the chicken
In a medium bowl, mix the chicken thighs with the sweet paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the seasoned chicken in a cold pan and start heating over high heat. Let the fat from the skin render and become crispy for 5-7 minutes, reducing the heat to medium if necessary. Turn the chicken over, add the rapeseed oil, and cook for another 6-7 minutes over medium heat.
Preparing the green beans and finishing
Meanwhile, clean the green beans and trim the ends. Peel the garlic and crush it. Finely chop the parsley. If using frozen beans, reduce the cooking time by about 2-3 minutes.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the pan. Reduce the heat to low, add the green beans to the same pan, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add the butter, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and chili flakes, stirring for 30-60 seconds. Return the chicken to the pan to reheat for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
Chef's tip
For a more intense flavor, you can add a little grated lemon zest over the green beans at the end.
