Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Slice the baguette into thin slices. Cut the pancetta into small cubes and brown it in a pan until crispy. Finely grate the Cheddar cheese and mix it in a bowl with the beaten eggs, Dijon mustard, and half of the browned pancetta.
Add the finely chopped parsley and season with freshly ground black pepper. Spread the mixture onto the baguette slices and sprinkle the remaining pancetta on top.
Chef's tip
For extra flavor, you can rub the baguette slices with a clove of garlic before adding the cheese mixture.
