Main Ingredients

  • 200 g of tuna in its own juice
  • 200 g of new potatoes
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 150 g of salad cucumber
  • 100 g of green bean pods
  • 50 g of mixed green salad

For the Dressing

  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 pinch of fine table salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of jarred Dijon mustard

Preparation of Boiled Ingredients

  • 1
Boil the new potatoes in their skins in salted water until tender (approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on size). Let them cool, then cut them into halves or quarters.
  • 2
Boil the eggs hard (approximately 8-9 minutes from the moment the water starts boiling). Run them under cold water, peel them, and cut them into quarters.
  • 3
Briefly boil the green bean pods in salted water (approximately 3-5 minutes), then drain them and immediately place them in cold water to preserve their vibrant color.

Assembling the Salad

  • 1
Cut the cucumber into suitable pieces. Drain the tuna well from its own juice.
  • 2
For the dressing, mix Dijon mustard, olive oil, and honey in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until smooth.
  • 3
In a large bowl or on individual plates, arrange the mixed green salad, then add the potatoes, green beans, cucumber, tuna pieces, and egg quarters. Drizzle everything with the prepared dressing and serve immediately.
Tip
For extra flavor, you can add a few black olives or red onion rings.
