Preparation method
First, boil the sweet potatoes: peel them and cut them into small cubes (approximately 2 cm × 2 cm). Place the potato cubes in a pot, cover them with enough water, and bring to a boil. When the water starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook the potatoes for 15–17 minutes, until very soft.
While the potatoes are boiling, cut the dark chocolate into larger pieces.
Once the potatoes have softened, drain them and mash them with a fork until you get a smooth puree. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Prepare a baking dish (approximately 15 cm × 20 cm) and line it with baking paper.
Chef's tip
For an even richer texture, you can add a handful of coarsely chopped nuts to the batter before baking.
