Preparing the Potatoes and Fish

Start by preparing the potatoes: peel them, cut them into cubes of approximately 2 cm, and place them in a pot. Cover them with cold water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and boil the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, until tender.

While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the fish fingers. Cut the cod fillet into thicker strips (approximately 2 cm x 7 cm) and season them with salt.
Breading and Frying the Fish

Prepare three deep plates for breading: in the first, place the all-purpose flour, in the second, beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of milk (approximately 20 ml), and in the third, place the breadcrumbs.
