Acest terci de ovăz cremos, îmbogățit cu semințe de chia și vanilie, este completat perfect de feliile de banană caramelizate în miere. O rețetă simplă, gata în mai puțin de 20 de minute, care îți va oferi energia necesară pentru întreaga dimineață.

- 100 g fine rolled oats
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 ml skimmed milk
- 100 g banana
- 1 tablespoon liquid honey
- 250 ml still water
Preparing the oatmeal
In a medium-sized saucepan, add the rolled oats, chia seeds, vanilla extract, milk, and water. Cook the mixture over medium heat for 9–10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the oatmeal has thickened, turn off the heat, cover the saucepan with a lid, and let it rest for 2–3 minutes.
Caramelizing the banana
Meanwhile, heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Peel the banana, cut it lengthwise, then in half, to get 4 pieces. Place the banana pieces in the pan, drizzle with honey, and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side, until golden and caramelized.
Serving
Divide the oatmeal into two bowls and serve each portion with the caramelized banana slices on top.
Chef's tip
If you prefer, you can also prepare the caramelized banana in the oven. Bake it at 215–220 °C for 8–9 minutes.
