Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 400 g of bananas (3 pieces)
- 10 g of cocoa powder (1 tablespoon)
- 50 ml of milk 1.5% fat
- 25 g of peanut butter (approx. 1.5 tablespoons)
- 5 g of shredded coconut (1 tablespoon)
- 5 g of dark chocolate 70% (1 teaspoon)
Preparing the base
First, peel 2 of the bananas, slice them thinly, and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours. This step is essential for achieving a creamy, ice cream-like texture.
Once the bananas are frozen, put them in a blender. Add the cocoa powder, milk, and 1 tablespoon (20 g) of peanut butter. Blend everything until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture. Transfer the resulting mixture into a spacious bowl.
Decoration and serving
Slice the remaining banana into rounds. Decorate the smoothie bowl in the bowl starting with the shredded coconut, then add the finely chopped dark chocolate and banana slices. Finally, pour the remaining peanut butter (1 teaspoon) on top. Serve immediately to enjoy the freshness and texture.
Chef's tip
For a vegan option, you can replace cow's milk with an almond or oat plant-based drink.
If the blender struggles with very frozen bananas, let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before blending or add a little more milk.
