Preparation method
Preparing the meat and vegetables
Cut the boneless chicken thighs into pieces of about 3-4 cm. Peel the potatoes and carrots, then cut them into thick rounds about 2 cm thick. Cut the green onions into 4-5 cm long segments.
Place the rice noodles in a large bowl with lukewarm water and leave to soak for 15 minutes, then drain well.
In a medium bowl, prepare the sauce by combining the soy sauce with the natural wildflower honey, sesame oil, finely crushed garlic cloves, finely grated ginger, and 250 ml of still water.
Chef's tip
For a subtly spicy note characteristic of Korean markets, you can add 1-2 whole dried chili peppers to the pot along with the soy sauce.
Rice noodles absorb a lot of sauce, so it is recommended to add them in the final minutes of cooking to remain springy and pleasant in texture.
