In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, flour, milk, egg, vegetable oil, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until you get a smooth mixture.
Preheat the waffle maker and lightly grease it with a little oil or butter to prevent sticking.
Pour about half a cup of batter for each waffle and bake according to the appliance instructions until golden and crispy.
Chef's tip
You can use leftover rice from a previous meal to save time.
If you do not like coriander, you can replace it with fresh dill or green onions.
