Preparation method
Start by preparing the caramelized onions – peel the onion and cut it into thin crescent-shaped halves. Heat a pan and, when it's hot, add enough oil and let it heat up. Put the onion in the hot oil and sauté it, stirring occasionally, until it turns golden – this will take a few minutes. Remove the caramelized onion from the pan and set it aside.
Divide the beef into two equal parts and form a ball from each. Place them in the hot pan and, with a spatula, press them down firmly until they become flat patties. Let them brown on the first side, then flip them and cook until they are well done.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce – mix all ingredients in a bowl and blend well until you get a creamy consistency.
