Wash the broccoli and separate it into florets and stem. Cut the florets into small pieces, and peel and dice the stem into small cubes.
Cooking pasta and broccoli

In a large pot, bring water to a boil with a pinch of salt. When the water boils, add the whole wheat spaghetti and cook according to package instructions (approximately 10 minutes).

2 minutes before the pasta is ready, add half of the broccoli florets to the pot to blanch them with the pasta.
Chef's tip
For a more intense flavor, you can toast the walnuts in a pan for a few minutes before adding them to the blender.
